NCK aim to contribute to achieve the UN Sustainable Development Goals and has chosen to contribute and influence the following 6 goals.

Good health and well-being

NCK business base is to contribute to the development of quality medicine and vaccines to fight diseases in the world – both prophylaxis and treatment – and to support access to medicine for everybody.

Gender equality

All employees at NCK have equal opportunity to be part of the management. After 3 years employment every employee – both men and women – can vote at the NCK foundations annual meeting.

Decent work and economic growth

NCK supports youth employment through our strategy to hire relatively young, newly qualified people and give them an intensive and supervised training program.

NCKs investment in a new pilot plant supports scientific research for our customers around the world.

To avoid food waste we make sure to maintain the cooling chain and we invite our employees to take home any leftovers. Chemicals and waste are being properly destroyed through Ekokem.

NCK is owned by at foundation consisting of all employees with more than 3 year seniority and all main decisions are approved by the NCK or the foundation board.
